CASA GABY – Preserving memory and political heritage, Casa Gaby has long served as a gathering place and symbol for the Communist Party, fostering social cohesion and supporting progressive political initiatives. Over the years, militants — particularly from the Locarno section — have contributed to the upkeep and improvement of the space. Surrounded by newer high-density residential buildings, the original house, donated by Gabriella “Gaby” Antognini, will be demolished and rebuilt. This edition seeks to safeguard and archive its memory, collecting traces, memories, books, and objects once held within its walls. Developed in collaboration with Luca Riva, the publication transforms the history of Casa Gaby into a tangible narrative of memory and struggle.
